June 11th, Station Rotterdam was proud to host 'I Love Dora' electoorganic sound act
by Dutch/German/Mexican composers Marcus Graf and Andrea Reyes
After their succesfull performance at the 'Afrika Pakhuis' they tuned in live from their studio in The Hague.

Graf studied at the Hogeschool Kunsten Utrecht (NL) receiving its title in Technologies of Music.
Within his labor experience it emphasizes score original for the film
"Ik Ook Van Jou" as well as the composition for several short
cinematographic screenings, some announcements for MTV and "Twijfel of Verlangen", a Dutch play.

Reyes studied Media and Communication Sciences in Mexico City.
Her labor experience is in the areas of graphical and interface design,
specializing on usability and Information Architecture.
She has worked on several artistic projects, amongst them 'Soundtrack de la
película Amorous: Ensayo para la Realidad' (1999).

Rotterdam is a landing stage for many cultures, artists, business men, architects and the shipping industry.
It has several qualities and interesting people, but there is a large lack of communication between large groups of inhabitants.
A main point of station Rotterdam is to provide contribution make a change herein.
Station Rotterdam is a new internet station with a wide view upon on the world.
On the growing net station Rotterdam will be a platform where much is to see and listen to;
a digital picture - and sound radio.
We want to discover the spontaneity the internet could offer to creative spirits.
Mainly music will be played, but also there will be attention for social problems
that exist at this moment in Rotterdam; and in the Netherlands in general.
Also there are a lot of interesting links and sources of information for the visitor of the site.
It is a stage for webcam-performances and visual art. To begin with there will be one online-performances
and a radio programme of three and a half hour transmitted a week.
All programmes will be announced in advance, and to be experienced live .
A part of it also comes in a file which is made accessible anytime for visitors of the site.

The initiators are Arnoud Schuurman and Sjoerd Borkent.
